SEO for tradesmen
Show up in the map results and on page one for the jobs and towns you actually want, then see exactly how many enquiries it brings in.
What your website needs to do
Get into the map results
The map pack at the top of Google takes most of the calls for local trade searches. A complete, active Google Business Profile with steady reviews is how you get into it.
A page for every job and town
Separate pages for each service and each town you cover give Google something to match when someone searches for exactly what you do, where you do it.
Fix the technical basics
Fast pages, proper titles, schema markup and a site Google can crawl. Most trade websites I audit fall down on at least one of these.
Track the calls, not just the visits
Rankings only matter if the phone rings. Every site tracks calls, form enquiries and email clicks, so you can see what the work is bringing in.

Common questions
How long does SEO take for a trade business?
In smaller towns you can see movement within a few months. Big cities are more competitive and take longer. I will tell you honestly which you are dealing with before you start.
Can you do SEO on my existing website?
Often, yes. Send it over for a free audit first. If the site itself is holding you back I will say so, and rebuilding can work out cheaper than fighting it.
What is included in the monthly plans?
Starter includes the local SEO set-up. Pro adds service and area pages and monthly Google Business Profile posts. Growth adds two blog posts a month, review management and a quarterly report.
Do you guarantee first place on Google?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What I can promise is the work that gives you the best chance, done properly and reported honestly.
Other trades I build for
Electrician websites
NICEIC or NAPIT up front, and pages for EICRs, rewires, consumer units and EV chargers.
Roofer websites
Repairs, re-roofs, flat roofs and emergency call-outs, each on its own page for each town.
Builder websites
Extensions, renovations and new builds shown as proper projects, with photos that sell the next job.
Landscaper and tree surgeon websites
Before-and-after galleries, qualifications and insurance, and a fast route for emergency tree work.
Carpenter websites
Kitchens, staircases, doors and bespoke joinery, with a portfolio that shows the finish.
